O AUTOR PAUL JOHNSON nasceu em Manchester, Inglaterra, em 1928, e foi um aclamado historiador, jornalista e escritor. Ao longo de sua prolífica carreira, contribuiu com textos em diversos periódicos, como "The Spectator", "Forbes", "The Wall Street Journal" e "The New York Times". Dentre os mais de cinquenta livros publicados, destacam-se os títulos: "Tempos modernos", "História do Cristianismo", História ilustrada do Egito Antigo, "Sócrates: um homem do nosso tempo" e "Churchill". Johnson faleceu em janeiro de 2023. |
