Sonia Purnell é uma jornalista inglesa de prestígio, tendo trabalhado na revista The
Economist e nos jornais The Telegraph e The Sunday Times. Nos últimos anos, vem se
dedicando à carreira de biógrafa. Seu livro Clementine: the life of Mrs Winston Churchill
foi um best-seller, assim como sua primeira obra, Just Boris, sobre o primeiro-ministro
inglês Boris Johnson. Ela mora em Londres com o marido e dois filhos.
