The future is much like now. High school girls still talk about boys and worry about their image. Wars have ended and there is relative peace in the world, as much as can be expected. Yet this is just the quiet before the storm. A storm that Eri Lee, an average American girl, finds herself stuck in the middle of. All Eri wants is be a normal teenager, but it does not seem possible as she becomes tied closer to the soldiers, not only physically but emotionally.
