C.G. Jung nasceu em Kesswil, Suíça, em 1875. Formou-se em Medicina em 1900, na Universidade da Basileia. Foi assistente e depois colaborador de Eugen Bleuler na Clínica Psiquiátrica de Zurique. Foi colaborador próximo de Sigmund Freud, de quem afastou-se anos mais tarde. Teve uma brilhante carreira intelectual em cujos escritos se revela a grandeza de um dos mais influentes pensadores do século XX. Jung morreu em 1961, na cidade de Küsnacht, aos 85 anos. |
