nasceu em 1640, filho de um governador provincial. Matriculou-se na universidade como o primeiro de sua turma em 1660 e formou-se em 1663. Foi discípulo de Song Si-yol, um dos primeiros escritores coreanos. Em 1722, devido ao papel que desempenhou em um tumulto no governo, foi exilado para a atual região da Coreia do Norte, onde veio a falecer |
