Gilman, Charlotte Perkins
Charlotte Perkins Gilman (1860-1935) foi escritora, poetisa e uma ativista do feminismo nos Estados Unidos. Abandonada pelo pai durante a infância e sem que sua mãe tivesse condições de criá-la sozinha, ficou sob a proteção de suas tias paternas, Catharine, Harriet (escritora e autora do clássico A cabana do Pai Tomás) e Isabella (sufragista, defensora do voto feminino).
